1. Who we are
This site is run by Iroha Hayashi, trading as Iroha Hayashi Photography, based in Wellington, New Zealand. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Iroha Hayashi Photography, and "you" means the person buying a print.

2. These terms
These terms apply whenever you buy a print through this site. By placing an order you agree to them. If you don't, please don't order.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once your payment goes through and we email you a confirmation. If we can't fulfil an order, for example if a print is no longer available, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.
If you need to cancel, email us before your order is posted and we'll refund you. Once it's in the post we can't recall it, but section 6 still applies.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in New Zealand dollars. Postage is calculated at checkout based on where your order is going, and is shown before you pay.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
5. Delivery
We post within New Zealand and internationally using NZ Post. Orders are dispatched within 10 working days of payment.
NZ Post's estimated delivery times are roughly:
- New Zealand: 3 working days
- Australia and the South Pacific: 3 to 6 working days
- Rest of the world: 6 to 13 working days
These are estimates from NZ Post, not guarantees, and delays outside our control can happen. Prints are sent as standard mail, which is not tracked.
6. If something goes wrong
If your print arrives damaged, isn't what you ordered, or hasn't turned up within 60 days of being posted, email us and we'll replace it or refund you, whichever you'd prefer. Until your order reaches you, the risk of it being lost or damaged in transit is ours, not yours.
Please tell us within 60 days of receiving your order, or within 60 days of when it should have arrived.
7. Your rights under New Zealand law
If you're buying as a consumer, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 gives you rights that we cannot take away. Among other things, prints must be of acceptable quality and match how they're described on this site. Nothing in these terms limits or replaces those rights, and if anything here conflicts with them, the law wins.
If you're buying for a business, those consumer guarantees don't apply.
8. Change of mind
We don't offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Each print is posted individually and the postage usually costs more than the print itself. This doesn't affect anything in sections 6 or 7 above, so please still get in touch if there's a genuine problem.
9. Copyright
Iroha Hayashi owns the copyright in every photograph on this site. Buying a print means you own that physical copy, for personal use and display. It does not transfer copyright or give you a licence to reproduce the image.
Please don't scan, photograph, copy, or reproduce the prints, and don't use the images commercially, without written permission.
10. How prints look
Screens differ, and colours on your monitor or phone won't match a physical print exactly. Small variations in colour and cropping are normal and aren't a fault.
11. Your privacy
We collect your name, email, and delivery address so we can send your order. How we handle that is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
